Any topic is fair game. Karin specializes in topics related to gardening, "going green," buying local and organic, finance, business and current events. However, she has excellent research skills and has successfully written articles on subjects like vehicle maintenance, safety in the workplace, elements of graphic design and more. Rates include basic research related to the article topic. Extensive research may be subject to additional charges.

• 400 to 500 words: $25 per article
• 501 to 750 words: $30 per article
• 751 to 1000 words: $35 per article
• 1001 words or more: $.05 per word
• Discounts available for multiple articles ordered at one time or contract for ongoing content

Karin can also submit your articles to online article publishing sites for an additional fee in order to draw attention to your articles, product or website. Charges range from $5 to $10 per article depending on volume of articles submitted and number of publishing sites.

Web Content Creation

Standard length for web content is 400 to 600 words per page. Rates are based on that average. Content can be on any topic and is based on information pulled from a current website or provided by the site owner. If extensive research is required, additional charges will apply.

• One to five pages: $20 per page
• Six to ten pages: $18 per page
• 11 pages or more: $15 per page

Basic search engine optimization (SEO) is included in each page written. Extensive SEO work can be provided for an additional charge. This includes optimizing existing pages for keyword density, clarity and flow.

Karin also provides services for pay-per-click (PPC) campaignns on Google Adwords. Please contact Karin for a quote on your specific project.

Proofreading and Editing Services

You may have an existing article, website or manuscript that needs another set of eyes. Karin's extensive editing experience makes her the perfect person to give your content a simple "once over" or provide complete editing services. Charges are generally based on a $25 per hour rate; however, each project varies. A flat-rate quote can be given if you contact her with your project requirements.

Ghost Writing and Manuscript Assistance

Karin can provide a number of types of written materials or assistance with writing your own. You may have many ideas you'd like to put on paper and don't know where to start, but want to retain your name as author. Or you may want to co-author a book. Whether you want Karin to take your information, notes and recordings and turn them into a well-organized book or if you'd like to partner with someone to do additional research, Karin can assist you with getting your words to the world.

Rates vary widely depending on what you are bringing to the table, the length of the book and amount of input and research required from Karin. As an idea, short manuscripts with little to no required research may run you as little as $750. Longer works with extensive input could be as high as $10,000 and may require credit to Karin for her participation. As with all projects, yours is unique.
